What if heartache could be faked in order to write music? This thought struck me a few years back with this song as a direct consequence. The lyrics convey a sense of dispair as the main character tries to understand why he is alone and not with his love anymore.
The song is a three parter, though they seamlessly flow into one another. At the time of recording, though, I didn't have a proper microphone and was having health issues with my lungs, so singing wasn't really on the top of my list. I included it in this set of demo's, however, to showcase where the song is going. This song will be featured on the first album that I intend to release, seeing as it's part of the concept and as I enjoy this piece very much.
